Georgia has been practicing yoga for over 16 years and is passionate about passing on this amazing and healing practice through her teaching. She has a background in gymnastics, ballet and music but it wasn’t until she was lying in savasana one day that it hit her like a gong on a big Tibetan bowl…’She was going to become a Yoga teacher!’ Since that day, everything has fallen together in an extraordinary way and Yoga is now an integral aspect of her life. She has explored everything from Laughing Yoga, to Acro Yoga to competing in Bikram Yoga competitions and everything in between.
During 2014-2015 she spent 7 months in Ubud, Bali and taught throughout Indonesia. She was lucky enough to work with some of the world’s most experienced teachers and completed her 500 RYT training.
She met with Yogis from all around the globe and really deepened her mental and physical Yoga practice over that time. Georgia also qualified as an AcroVinyasa teacher, in Bali, with Yoga Beyond before coming back to Melbourne to open her own yoga studio.
Since then she has had two beautiful babies, Isla and Johnny and has used her Yoga practice to prepare for her home births and help her in post natal recovery.
Georgia has also run six extremely successful Yoga teacher Trainings, with her graduates now teaching in top studios all around Melbourne. She is extremely passionate about passing on her knowledge to help her students become capable, confident and connected both on and off the Yoga mat.
Georgia runs Yoga Teacher Trainings, group classes, private classes, Yoga Retreats, workshops and works with local schools, businesses and health clinics.
She is passionate about helping as many people as she can through Yoga and living the Yoga philosophy on and off the mat.
