Our home for the weekend is the exquisite Tussie Mussie retreat; a boutique residence on the Mornington Peninsula set on 27 acres. 

Less than one hour from Melbourne or 30 minutes from Mornington along a secluded country road nestled in amongst farms and wineries, this exquisite haven is one of the few places in Victoria where you can stay, eat and relax amongst a private vineyard.

 

There are private and shared sleeping options with all rooms lovingly decorated using and using only the highest quality bedding. 

 

At Tussie Mussie we have the exclusive use of 3 separate residences with a total of 8 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, a gorgeous kitchen garden with organic herbs and vegetables, an open air fire pit & outdoor wood fired pizza oven area and a stunning ong table overlooking the vineyard, seating up to 20 people

 

This property is as stunning externally is it quaint, beautiful and comfortable internally. It is sure to delight and is the perfect escape for a cosy Winter weekend away.

Friday afternoon: 3pm onwards arrive at our country home. You'll be greeted by Georgia and Teresa, shown to your room, given your gift bag and have some time to unwind and unpack. Complimentary tea, fruit and snacks will be served. Time to slow down the pace, take a big exhale and settle into this relaxing experience. 

Friday evening: 5pm – We'll relax with a grounding Yoga class in our expansive private studio. Then we'll feast on a delicious, wholesome meal prepared by our private chef, with local organic wine, scrumptious dessert by a crackling open fire. 

Saturday morning: We’ll start the day with a revitalising Vinyasa Yoga practice and meditation. After practice we'll have a gourmet breakfast spread, with fresh cold press juices, barista prepared coffee and herbal teas. 

 

Saturday mid-morning: A whole day of indulgence and pampering awaits you. Enjoy complimentary massages, DIY beauty organic beauty treatments, foot bath, Pranayama workshops, myofascial release and much more! Everything is optional so feel free to join or simply read your book in the bath or by the fire. Decisions, decisions! 

Saturday lunch: Head over to the divine outdoor woodfire oven and long table and enjoy some delicious healthy pizzas under a canopy of trees set in amongst the lush vineyard. 

 

Saturday afternoon: Take your time to rest and digest or continue to enjoy the relaxation activities from the morning. Then in the afternoon, we will have a private musician accompany us for live sound healing during a soothing Yin class. 

 

Saturday evening: Put on an outfit that makes you feel fabulous as we join together for another epic dinner feast with our private chef. We’ll enjoy our last evening meal together with our new yogi friends. Awesome company, delicious food and wine and another open fire while Daniel continues to serenade us! #Bliss

 

Sunday morning: A grounding and reflective morning Yoga practice followed by a deep and meditative cacao ceremony and another delicious breakfast. 

Sunday afternoon: Seal the weekend feeling your best self with a private photo shoot, a romantic 'self date', and then come together for an interactive and fun cooking class with our incredibly talented private chef. 

Leave feeling like your cup is overflowing so that you can keep that going through Winter and share this love, energy and vitality with everyone you love!

YOUR YOGA TEACHERS & HOSTS

Hi I'm Georgia and I am passionate about sharing the empowering and transformative practice of Yoga. I've practiced Yoga for over 15 years and have trained and worked in Bali, India, Thailand and Indonesia. I now live and work on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula with my family. 

I love to bring together my experience in music, dance and wellness to create thoughtful, creative and soulful classes with an emphasis on healing. 

I have run several successful retreats, events and teacher trainings before and I love to create special, sacred and memorable experiences to help people step out of the every day and connect back to themselves.  

Georgia Hicks- RYT 500 hour

Dr. Teresa McGannon- RYT 330 hours

Hi I’m Teresa or as most people call me 'Tee'. I am a Chiropractor and Yoga Teacher. I have also explored aspects of other healing modalities such as Reiki.

I love learning and also teaching. Connection is my passion. I love holding space for people to allow them to heal, connect to themselves, to others and to their environment.

 

I view life as an ever changing adventure that we can learn to navigate, given some guidance and tools. I enjoy to help people find more balance in their work, play, passion, service and I encourage people to be the fullest expression of who they really are at their core. I have completed 330 hours of yoga teacher training including yin (200hrs vinyasa and 130hrs yin). I can’t wait to help to facilitate this retreat and nurture you as you fill up your own cup!

The rooms are light filled, expansive and have sweeping views over the Vineyard.

There are private and shared room options with features such as wood fires, separate lounge areas, privates terraces, spa baths and kitchenettes.

FAQs

Do I have to have Yoga experience?

No, all the classes will be very accessible for all levels with plenty of personal assistance from Georgia and Teresa. 

Do I have to participate in all activities?

This retreat is completely for YOU. You can participate in as much or as little as you want. We all come for our own reasons so if you want some time out at any stage that is completely fine. Putting on your open fire, pouring a wine and slipping into your private bath wouldn't be too shabby anyway!

Who is this retreat for?

Anyone wanting to recharge, reconnect and relax.

Your weekend will include Vinyasa and Yin Yoga, indulgent beauty treatments, private massage, wholesome nutritious meals and daily mindfulness practice. If you want to heal, connect and release then this is the perfect experience for you. 

Can I bring my friend/relative?

Yes, the Muladhara, Manipura, Anahata and Ajna rooms are all suitable for two people to share. 

What time does the retreat start and finish?

Arrive from 3pm Friday and checkout 3pm Sunday. 72 hours to step off the planet for a bit and bliss out.

Can you accomodate for dietary requirements?

Absolutely. We have our own private chef so please let me know of any requirements you have so we can make the meals super healthy and satisfying for you.
